My life is like a succession of scenes divided by chapters, penned by the Author of Life who has brilliantly woven me into His Story of redemption. Much like Audrey, in Ellie’s Window, my greatest desire as a child was to know that my story would end better than it began. From the moment I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, I experienced the joy of discovering the connective link between Earth and Heaven and the transforming power of God’s Word that joins them both together.
From a home of alcoholism, wife abuse, and child abuse, to a home where love and grace have moved in and taken over – I am one blessed woman. My husband Bud and I have celebrated 51 years of marriage. We have two grown children, Annette Marie Fletcher and Dean Ellis Snavely. From our son and daughter- in-love Kim, have come the gifts of Morgan Elizabeth-Anne and Jakob Ellis. These two children have turned Bud and I into the clichés of every crazy thing that has ever been said about becoming grandparents. Bud and I share our home with two neurotic cats, Murphy and Spinelli. We treasure our life together, sitting together by our pond, creating yummy meals, traveling, and fellowshipping with our friends at Gresham Bible Church.
All my life I have felt drawn to the arts, whether writing, painting, speaking, cooking, or singing; these are the gifts God has fashioned within me, given to express His unique beauty. When used for His glory, they are the offerings through which He chooses to bless me and others.
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus,
so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.
